Wat Mahathat is for quiet meditation and the Buddhist university — the amulet market is outside; do not merge them into one sight. How to close: around Tha Chang; if you already entered the palace walls, this is only a short stop; decide on the stalls after you leave the temple. Do not cross for Wat Arun, and do not add Chatuchak. Opening and any charge follow the door that day.
Best time

How to go
Walk from Tha Chang. Same strip as the National Museum.
Tips
- · Cover shoulders and knees. Keep the temple and the stalls separate.
