The National Museum sits at the north end of Sanam Luang. You stop for Buddha images and royal objects, and you keep it off the same hour as Wat Phra Kaew. If the half-day already entered the palace, add this only when you still want indoors and the museum is open. Do not make a special trip on Monday or Tuesday. Fare and hours follow the museum that day; when published pages disagree, follow the door.
Best time
The volunteers' page lists Wednesday–Sunday 08:30–16:00, last tickets 15:30, closed Monday and Tuesday. The Fine Arts service page lists 240 baht for foreigners and says that includes the Royal Barges and the National Gallery, but gives hours as 09:00–16:00. The pages disagree — follow the ticket desk that day.
How to go
Tha Chang, or walk the north side of Sanam Luang. Do not cross for Wat Arun because of this museum.
Tips
- · 240 baht is what the service page says, not a single on-site price this station has locked. If the desk differs, follow the desk.
