Do not shuttle north and south exits
JR Osaka north exit is Grand Front and the Sky Building, about 10 minutes on foot to the observatory. The south exit is Daimaru and Kitashinchi. Pick one exit. Last entry for the Floating Garden follows that day's notice.
LUCUA, Daimaru or Hankyu — pick one
LUCUA is inside the station, Daimaru at the south exit, Hankyu in a separate block to the east. In rain use the links. Do not enter all three. For Kawaramachi, go to the Hankyu platform first. Do not shop and then hunt for the gate.
Keep dinner in Kitashinchi
The Kita meal: Yakitori Torikizoku in Kitashinchi (or another yakitori on the same lanes) for dinner, about 10 minutes south of Osaka Station. Sit, then stop. Do not continue to Dotonbori — that is another night.
