Umeda’s rail heart. Watch the crowd in the atrium, then pick the north exit or Hankyu.
Best time
Weekday morning or dusk. Weekend noon is thick.
How to go
In the atrium, split north exit, south exit and Hankyu. The three Umeda metro stations are not one paid area. ICOCA taps this JR hop. An Osaka Metro day pass does not cover JR.
Tips
- · Umeda’s rail heart. Watch the crowd in the atrium, then pick the north exit or Hankyu.
- · This is a transfer hall, not a whole day. Read the company name before the gate. The wrong gate means another ticket.
