Nakanoshima Park
The green bar between the Dojima and Tosabori rivers. Rose season is crowded; on ordinary days walk through to the Public Hall.

Osaka City Central Public Hall
The 1918 red-brick hall. The facade is enough unless a public opening is on.

Nakanoshima Library
The 1904 Greek-revival library. Same river stretch as the Public Hall.

The black-box museum that opened in 2022. The west end of the culture axis; the river works at dusk.

Where Midosuji starts south, and the subway meets Keihan. The Public Hall is across the bridge.

Kitahama
The old banking street. Good lights and dinners in the evening — not a shopping day.

Osaka International Convention Center
The convention centre at the west end. Go only for an event; otherwise it closes the river walk.

Nakanoshima Aqua Bus
A short river boat. Take it only in good weather — not as your main transport.

Where this line goes next
Walk or ride one stop. A new district is another day.
Osaka City Central Public Hall
Walk · 6min
Follow the Nakanoshima park path to the Tosabori riverbank, about 5–10 minutes. No train. Exit: Leave Midosuji at Yodoyabashi, cross the bridge, about 5–10 minutes into the park.
Walk the river to the public hall, then stop. Do not continue to Namba. Next is Osaka City Central Public Hall.
Nakanoshima Library
Walk · 6min
Follow the Nakanoshima park path to the riverbank on the library side, about 5–10 minutes. No train. Exit: Leave Midosuji at Yodoyabashi, cross the bridge, about 5–10 minutes into the park.
Walk the river to the public hall, then stop. Do not continue to Namba. Next is Nakanoshima Library.
Osaka Castle
Osaka Metro · 25min
Another day — do not treat this as a same-day walk. Midosuji to Yodoyabashi toward Osaka Castle (Tanimachi Line to Tanimachi 4-chome), about about 20–30 minutes. ICOCA or PiTaPa taps the gate. An Osaka Metro day pass is Metro only — not JR.
Walk the river to the public hall, then stop. Do not continue to Namba. Next is Osaka Castle.
