Keep and stone walls. Nishinomaru Garden is the next stop in the same park — not Tsutenkaku the same day.
Best time
Weekday morning or dusk. Weekend noon is thick.
How to go
From Tanimachi 4-chome walk toward Gokuraku Bridge, about a quarter hour to the keep. JR Osaka-jo Koen is the park exit, but it is JR. ICOCA or PiTaPa taps the gate. An Osaka Metro day pass is Metro only — not JR.
Tips
- · Keep and stone walls. Nishinomaru Garden is the next stop in the same park — not Tsutenkaku the same day.
- · The keep usually closes 28 Dec–1 Jan; Nishinomaru Garden is a separate ticket from the keep — check that day's notice.
