The 2004 opening that rewrote Macau's gaming landscape. Its significance is historical rather than scenic; if you only want a look, pass it on the Outer Harbour walk.
Best time
The exterior varies little by hour; night lighting is marginally better.
How to go
About ten minutes on foot from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal, or take its free shuttle.
Tips
- · Gaming floors are 21-plus and a travel document is required at entry
- · Photography is prohibited and phones should not be used at the tables
- · Frequent free shuttles run to the Outer Harbour terminal and the Barrier Gate
- · Responsible-gambling helpline information is posted on site, and counselling services exist in Macau
