The grid of reclaimed blocks behind the Outer Harbour, mixing restaurants, bars and offices. One of the few parts of Macau with street-level night life that belongs to no resort.
Best time
After dinner into the late hours; the blocks are lifeless by day.
How to go
Bus to Avenida da Amizade or the Alameda Dr. Carlos d'Assumpção area, then walk into the streets.
Tips
- · The streets are quiet but empty at night — stick to the main blocks with open shops if walking alone
- · Some bars set a minimum spend — ask before sitting down
