Once a bay (Bahia Da Praia Grande), after the redevelopment project, Nam Van Lake (South Bay lake) became one of two man made lakes in the Macau Peninsula.

An artificial lake left behind by reclamation, ringed by a flat continuous path — the one place on the peninsula you can walk forty minutes without crossing a road.

After sunset when the far bank lights up; there is no shade lakeside by day in summer.

Walk down to the lakeside path from Grand Lisboa or Avenida da Praia Grande.
