A small 1888 temple pressed against the Ruins of St. Paul's, sharing the same plot as a Catholic relic. That juxtaposition is the argument Macau's heritage listing makes.
Best time
Do it on the same leg as St. Paul's; mornings are quieter.
How to go
A few dozen paces right of the façade, toward the old city wall.
Tips
- · It is a single-bay temple — five minutes, not a scheduled block
- · Worshippers still burn incense here — look before you photograph
