A late-Qing merchant house wedged between eateries, with its plaster relief, shell windows and light wells intact. Same family of thing as the Mandarin's House but much smaller — one of the two is enough.

Morning light reaches the courtyards; it closes one day a week.
How to go
In Travessa da Sé off Senado Square; the narrow frontage is easy to miss.
