Fort, lighthouse and chapel on the summit count as one heritage ensemble. The chapel's hybrid Chinese-Western murals are the genuinely rare thing here — do not come up only for the lighthouse.
Best time
Just after opening; the climb is punishing at summer noon.
How to go
Take the Guia cable car, or walk up the path beside Flora Garden in about twenty minutes.
Tips
- · No flash photography in the mural conservation zone
- · The cable car runs short hours and has maintenance periods — check it is operating
Next stop
Where this line goes next
Walk the slope, or take a bus or shuttle to the next sight, hall or bakery. Do not backtrack.
Guia Lighthouse
Walk · 2min
Inside the fort walls
Fort, chapel and lighthouse share one enclosure — after that climb, seeing only one is the worst trade.
Macau Grand Prix Museum
Walk · 12min
East slope down to NAPE
The hill's foot is the circuit's corner — see the gradient first and the museum's numbers finally mean something.
