The contemporary gallery inside the South Bank Centre. Enter only if a show is on. Next is South Bank Centre — do not also stack Tate Modern the same day.
Analysis
Hayward Gallery: two wings only. Last entry is about an hour before close (About 11:00–19:00 during shows). Leave a large case if there is no cloakroom, leave via Waterloo, and do not add another large museum the same day.

How to go
Waterloo
Transit
Tap contactless or Oyster at Waterloo. Last trains sit around midnight. After Hayward Gallery closes, board there — do not cross districts for the last train.
Season window
Spring and autumn are easiest at Hayward Gallery. Summer atriums and weekend crowds stack; in winter put the indoor rooms first, and do not count an outdoor court on a wet day.
Tips
- · Tickets: Mid: exhibition tickets on the official site — do not freeze a guide number. Plan about 50 minutes.
- · Same complex as Festival Hall
- · No flash and no tripods inside Hayward Gallery. Drink water before security. Pushchairs follow that day's door notice.
