Phra Athit is the stop for riverside mansions quieter than Khaosan, and the pier that leaves the night street by boat. Half a day: walk from Khaosan, afternoon stroll, dinner on this bank, then stop; boats go south to the old town or north to Thewet, fare by flag, not Rabbit. Do not walk to the Golden Mount after midnight, and do not add Chatuchak.
Best time
The street has no ticket. The boat fare follows the pier, and it is not the BTS.
How to go
A walk from Khaosan. Phra Sumen Fort is at the north end.
Tips
- · If the night street is already too loud, move dinner to this bank. Do not change district.
