Museum Siam is the stop because the old commerce ministry has air-conditioning, and one floor of 'where Siam came from' is enough. It is the indoor stretch after the palace or Wat Pho, not a second palace. In a storm, finish the remaining walking here; do not push on to Chatuchak, and do not add a mall across the river.
Best time
The museum visit page: Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–18:00, closed Monday. Foreign adults 100 baht. Under 15 and age 60 and over free.
How to go
A walk from Tha Tien and Wat Pho. MRT Sanam Chai is close. Blue Line payment is not Rabbit.
Tips
- · On Monday it is closed — walk the flower market or the river. Do not wait at the door for tomorrow.
