Walkable next stops
Worth knowing: one hotspot a day. Each hotspot lists do / don’t and what people search for.
The east–centre pick among three beauty streets — not the only one in the city.
Do · If today is Myeongdong, finish here. The other picks are Hongdae night or Garosu / Apgujeong — one street a day.
Don’t · Do not stack Myeongdong onto Hongdae or Garosu, or onto Seongsu, and do not treat this as Seoul’s only beauty street.
Myeongdong shopping · Myeongdong beauty
One south beauty / street line — not all of Gangnam, and not a Myeongdong add-on.
Do · Sinsa to Apgujeong, then stop. If this is today’s beauty street, do not also open Myeongdong.
Don’t · Do not also open COEX, and do not stack Dosan–Cheongdam or Seongsu lanes the same day.
Garosu-gil · Sinsa shopping
Wholesale and night market.
Do · Go at dusk, close at DDP.
Don’t · Do not wait all day for shops to open.
Dongdaemun shopping · Dongdaemun wholesale
Indoor city for rain.
Do · Set a time to leave.
Don’t · Do not make it the whole day and then add Garosu-gil.
COEX · Starfield Library
Pick one corridor: Myeongdong, Dongdaemun, Dosan–Cheongdam (replaces Garosu-gil that day), or Seongsu back streets. Beauty is a separate one-street day: Myeongdong, Hongdae night, or Garosu / Apgujeong. One mall among COEX, The Hyundai or Lotte World Mall. Seongsu is not a mall; Myeongdong beauty does not stack onto it; Dosan–Cheongdam and Garosu are not the same day.
Seoul shopping · Seoul malls
Beauty and the street. Next is the stream or Namdaemun, not Hongdae.
Myeongdong shopping · what to buy in Myeongdong
It is at Sinsa, not the Gangnam Station exit. This or COEX.
Garosu-gil shopping · Sinsa
Wholesale after dusk. Gwangjang is for eating, not the same shopping list.
what to buy in Dongdaemun · DDP
Two things in Insadong. Myeongdong is for using, markets are for eating. Check food rules yourself.
Seoul souvenirs · Insadong
