The base follows the axis
Decide the day's axis, then the bed. Jongno is for the palace and Bukchon. Myeongdong is for the street and the stream. Hongdae is for the west night. Gangnam or Cheongdam serves only that one south corridor. Jamsil fits only the tower-and-lake day. Do not stay in the middle so that everything feels convenient: the middle means a transfer every day. When the night street ends you still want a train in hand, so the bed follows the axis. Do not sleep in a different night district. There are no live rates here. On a three-day trip, the bed follows the first axis. Accept one transfer on the south day. Do not move the first two nights to Gangnam for the sake of the south.
