One palace
Hanbok rentals cluster outside Gyeongbokgung. Change, then enter, and go deep in that one palace. Bukchon can follow. Keep the slope short and stop. Do not turn the hanok lanes into a second sights day. Changdeokgung and Changgyeonggung wait. Do not rush a second palace in hanbok, and do not transfer to Hongdae. In rain or wind, skip the outdoor slope and stay inside the palace or a museum. Rental hours and prices follow the shop that day. This page does not print an unverified price. The hanbok route ends at a short Bukchon slope. People live on it. Do not shoot into windows, and do not go back to the palace gate for more pictures.
