The north end
Cheong Wa Dae is the north end of a palace day, not another palace that needs a full day of its own. What is open follows that day's notice. This page does not print an unverified fare or reopening date. Add the folk museum or the palace museum, not both in depth. If you eat afterwards, close with the Ikseon meal — do not open the Changdeok rear garden on the way. Do not climb Bukhansan, and do not transfer to Hongdae. In rain, stay inside the hall you chose. Both halls sit north of Gyeongbokgung and look close. Seeing both in depth still eats the afternoon. Pick one. The other waits. The table at Ikseon is the close. Sit, eat, and leave along the lane. Do not walk back to the palace gate.
