Bloomsbury's square garden. A pause between museums, not a destination. Next is British Museum — do not also stack Hyde Park the same day.
Analysis
Russell Square is a walk, not a photo stop. The garden by day. Gate hours and lawn hours differ. Be out toward Russell Square before dark, and do not use the park as a shortcut into the next district.

Transit
The park has no ticket gate. The station is Russell Square. Leave before the last train, and do not cross the grass after dark.
Season window
Spring is blossom at Russell Square, summer picnics are crowded, autumn light is the point, winter dusk is early. In rain stay on the paved main path.
Tips
- · Tickets: Free. Plan about 15 minutes.
- · There is a café in the garden; do not hunt a mall
- · Lawns at Russell Square can close at short notice. Dogs, bikes and picnics follow that day's notice. No large speakers.
