The shrine on the flank of Mount Homan. Come only if you are climbing — it is not an annex of the Tenmangu.
Best time
The first hour after opening on a weekday. Weekends and festival days run thick.
How to go
Start at Dazaifu / hike. Nishitetsu from Tenjin to Futsukaichi, then the Dazaifu line. Walk the approach from the terminus. Museum or Mount Homan — not both. The last train is earlier than the subway.
