A slow afternoon walk. Rush hour is only for changing trains.
How to go
Start at Hakata. The airport subway or the shinkansen is at Hakata. Read Hakata-guchi or Chikushi-guchi. For Dazaifu, change to Nishitetsu at Tenjin — do not taxi from here.
Tips
- · Leave south of the gates. Sumiyoshi Shrine is closer from here than from the Hakata exit.
- · Keep the next stop in Hakata. The station and Canal City share a day. Dazaifu and Itoshima do not.
