Wat Suthat is the stop for the cloister murals; the Giant Swing at the door is a look, then you leave. With the Golden Mount and Loha Prasat this is the old town's north ring by day, and it does not need the palace. Half a day: walk from the monument or the mount, linger on the murals, then stop — no mall or Thonglor. Opening and tickets follow the temple that day.
Best time
Opening and tickets follow the temple that day. Unchecked figures are not written.
How to go
Walk from the Democracy Monument or the Golden Mount. The swing is at the door; do not stand in the traffic lanes.
Tips
- · The murals are worth longer than the swing. Do not add a mall afterwards.
