Song Wat is the stop for warehouse cafes and old houses — Yaowarat's quiet afternoon stretch. Half a day: walk from MRT Hua Lamphong or Talat Noi, go deep on this one road, then one stall on the main street at Wat Mangkon at dusk. If you pick this, do not also force Sampeng; Siam, Asiatique, Khaosan, Ratchada or the palace do not follow.
