Ratchadamnoen is the tree avenue between the monuments — wait for the light. How to use it: the daytime axis from the Democracy Monument to the Golden Mount or Wat Suthat; do not insert Khaosan into this stretch; traffic is heavy, so use crossings and refuges. The avenue is not a nightlife main stage, and do not bounce back to the palace as a second stop.
Best time
A daytime walking axis. No gate ticket.
How to go
From the Democracy Monument toward the Golden Mount / Wat Suthat.
Tips
- · Wait for the light. The main stop is the temples and the climb.
