Lumphini Park, Bangkok

Lumphini is the green lung you can still walk in the centre. You stop for one loop at dawn or dusk, not to drop it into the middle of a mall day. Half a day: the lake early, then the snake farm's indoor talk or Neilson Hays when it is hot, and at dusk keep either the park or Mahanakhon. One Bangkok is rain cover, not a second required mall. Chatuchak and the Grand Palace do not follow this day.
Best time
No known gate ticket. Opening and closing follow the park gates that day. This station does not freeze a clock time.
How to go
MRT Lumphini or BTS Sala Daeng. The Blue Line is a contactless bank card; the BTS is Rabbit. Walk in after the gate.
Tips
- · In an afternoon storm, get under trees or indoors. Do not stay on the open lake edge.
