Lumphini is the green lung you can still walk in the centre. You stop for one loop at dawn or dusk, not to drop it into the middle of a mall day. Half a day: the lake early, then the snake farm's indoor talk or Neilson Hays when it is hot, and at dusk keep either the park or Mahanakhon. One Bangkok is rain cover, not a second required mall. Chatuchak and the Grand Palace do not follow this day.

Dusk · Viewpoint

Mahanakhon is the stop for one Silom glass-observatory dusk. If the Golden Mount or Wat Arun already has dusk, come by day or skip it. Half a day: BTS Chong Nonsi skywalk to the tower, go up or eat downstairs — one of them — then stop; not two high points, and do not cross the river. Fare and hours follow the building that day.

Night · Lane

Patpong is the stop because night-market and nightlife lanes overlap after dark — not a family afternoon stamp. The half-day, which is really a half-night: BTS Sala Daeng or MRT Silom, enter only after dark, one round or one stall, then leave by the same station. Treating the night lane as a daytime sight is pointless. Lumphini and Mahanakhon are another daytime or dusk stretch; Yaowarat and Thonglor are not the next stop from here.

Landmark · Walk

Silom Road is an office avenue by day. The reason to stop is the canteens after work, plus the park and one high point at either end. Do not walk the whole road as a sight. Half a day: Lumphini at dawn or a slow half hour in the library, a roofed afternoon, and at dusk only Mahanakhon or State Tower. Patpong is the evening; do not stamp the night lane by day. This day does not continue to Yaowarat or Thonglor.

Temple · Walk

Assumption Cathedral is the quiet interior on the river axis, inside a school compound. How to use it: a short walk from Saphan Taksin or Si Phraya, same Charoen Krung half-day as the old post and River City; then the boat or back to the station — do not bounce to the palace or add a Siam mall. Opening follows the site that day.

Indoor · Museum

The snake farm is the stop for the serum-and-snake talk, not a theme park — it takes a Lumphini hot noon indoors. Half a day: walk from MRT Silom or BTS Sala Daeng, then back to the park or Neilson Hays, and only one high point at dusk. The night lanes are not how this half-day ends. Opening, the talk and tickets follow the institute that day.

Landmark · Walk

Neilson Hays is a slow half hour in the old Silom library — an indoor alternative to a hot Lumphini noon. How to close: walk from Sala Daeng, then back to the park or only one dusk high point; Patpong waits until after dark, and do not add a Siam mall. Opening and tickets follow the library that day; unchecked figures are not written here.

Chong Nonsi is the skywalk to Mahanakhon's ground exit — not a sight of its own. How to use it: BTS Chong Nonsi onto the skywalk, and at dusk only this high point or State Tower — one of them; Silom's office avenue is a daytime pass-through. Do not cross for ICON, and do not take the Golden Mount's dusk. Observatory tickets follow the building that day.

Dusk · Viewpoint

State Tower is one Silom roof at dusk. If Mahanakhon already has dusk, drop this or come by day. Half a day: around Sala Daeng or Chong Nonsi, go up or eat nearby — one of them — then stop; do not cross for ICON, and do not take the Golden Mount's dusk. Fare and hours follow the building that day.

Hua Lamphong is still the Blue Line and Chinatown's old gate, not the long-distance terminal. Half a day: the golden Buddha outside, Talat Noi, or Yaowarat toward evening; most long-distance trains are at Bang Sue — do not wait here empty-handed. Do not bounce to the palace or a Siam mall. The Blue Line uses a contactless card, not Rabbit; fares follow the system that day.

Mall · Walk

One Bangkok is rain cover and a transfer beside Lumphini, not a required main hall. Half a day: after a dawn park loop, duck in from the heat, or use it as the roofed next stop in rain; the snake farm stays on the same green axis. Do not finish it with Siam the same day, and do not add Thonglor or Patpong. Floors follow that day.

Boat · River

Si Phraya is the east-bank boat door — west-bank hotels and ICON sit across; it is not a sight of its own. How to use it: read the flag before boarding — orange express is the commuter boat, the tourist boat is another company, short ferries are separate; one floor at River City or the old post, then go. Do not decide at the pier to bounce to the palace, and do not finish two malls. Fares follow the pier that day.

Landmark · Walk

The Grand Postal Building is an indoor point on the river walk, not a half-day postal museum. How to use it: walk from Si Phraya or Saphan Taksin, see the exterior or open public space, then go; one River City floor can be the same stretch. The boat can leave the east bank — do not finish two malls, and do not bounce to the walls. Building access follows the site that day.

Warehouse 30 is the east-bank warehouse shops beside River City. Half a day: walk from Si Phraya or Saphan Taksin, one floor, then the boat; ICON is reachable, but do not finish both malls, and do not return to Siam or bounce to the palace. Opening follows the site; no gate ticket is frozen here.

Mall · Walk

River City is the east-bank antiques mall, not a department-store binge. Half a day: one floor from Si Phraya pier, then the boat away; ICON or Lhong 1919 is reachable, but do not finish both, and do not return to Paragon or bounce to the walls. Floors and any charge follow that day; no gate ticket is frozen here.

Temple · Walk

Wat Yannawa is the boat-shaped viharn on the east bank, across from Lhong 1919. How to use it: a short walk from Saphan Taksin, cover shoulders and knees, then leave; boat or Gold Line to ICON is another stretch — do not climb a prang and also finish the mall, and do not bounce to the palace, a Siam mall or Chatuchak. Opening follows the temple that day.
