One axis · Zoo and Maokong

The end of the Wenhu line. The Maokong Gondola's zoo station is next door. Pick a zone inside — do not enter just before closing.

One axis · Zoo and Maokong

Zoo station to Maokong. Wind or thunderstorms stop it — check the status before you go. The fare is separate from the metro.

The tea street is at the upper station. Sit one tea house, look at the view, and do not rush down for a second night market.

One axis · Zoo and Maokong

The temple on the slope. Gondola or bus, and many steps. Stay long here or at a Maokong tea house.

One axis · Zoo and Maokong

The slopes outside the tea houses. A short walk is enough — do not still be on the path after dark.

One axis · Zoo and Maokong

The tea exhibit at Maokong. Hours follow the door. If it is shut, go back to the tea street and sit down.

One axis · Jingmei

A local night market. One meal. Easier to move in than Shilin, and still an evening, not a morning.

One axis · Jingmei

The temple beside the market. Five minutes before or after you eat.

One axis · Jingmei

A short steep suburban hill. Morning. Skip it if afternoon storms are building. If knees complain, stay on flat Jingmei.
