Morning keeps Fu Hang only
For Fu Hang, reach Huashan Market upstairs early, until it sells out. Do not come back at noon just to queue. Next is one show at Huashan 1914, or Syntrend or Guanghua Digital Plaza — one building. Nanmen He Xing is a snack on the memorial axis, not a second round after Fu Hang. Eslite Dunnan has closed — do not schedule breakfast there. The Fu Hang queue counts as morning. If you are still queuing after nine, give it up and enter the hall. Keep this stretch inside two hours. Note the metro exit before you start, leave as soon as you have seen or eaten, and do not queue a second door.
One noon bowl, on the axis you are already on
On Yongkang, sit for the beef noodle and do not eat another round at Dongmen. Jin Feng is Jinhua and Roosevelt; Xiaowang is Heping East. Not both pork shops in one meal. Lin Dong Fang is Bade Road; if you already had Shuang Yue, do not queue beef noodle. In Ximen, Ay-Chung is a standing snack and Du Xiao Yue is one sit-down bowl — not both, and not every Wuchang stall on top. Eat the bowl at the station you are already at. Do not cross two districts for a name. Stop once in the middle. When you have eaten or looked, walk on. Do not turn passing shops into a list, and go back by the station you came in on.
Evening: one night market, or one Din Tai Fung
If you queue Din Tai Fung in Xinyi, that is the meal — Tonghua is not also a main sitting. The observatory and Elephant Mountain stay either-or. Without Din Tai Fung, pick one of the ten night markets in the same district as the day: Tonghua for Xinyi, Raohe for Songshan, and for Wanhua either Guangzhou Street or Nanjichang. Do not cross town for another stall. These are editorial samples for the next stop, not stars and not Bib Gourmand. Din Tai Fung and a night market are both full meals. Sit down for only one of them. Stop the day here. Leave the other district for tomorrow. Do not add a stop before the last train, and trust the station board over this guide.
