Xinyi: Elephant Mountain or the observatory
On a clear day leave dusk for Elephant Mountain and do not buy the 101 observatory; the mall can come first and is not a height. Rain, wind, or a day that should skip the steps: use the observatory and cancel the mountain. Observatory hours and tickets follow the 101 site — no exact fare. Tonghua is this day's dinner. Both stops are listed so you choose, not so you finish both and then eat. Look at the cloud before you climb or buy a ticket. Low cloud means the observatory, not a queue at both. Keep this stretch inside two hours. Note the metro exit before you start, leave as soon as you have seen or eaten, and do not queue a second door.
Other heights are other days
The Grand Hotel's roof-scale belongs to the Yuanshan and fine-arts axis. Do not rush from Xinyi for a second blue hour. The Miramar wheel is the Dazhi backup — not a second dusk beside Elephant Mountain. The Baishihu bridge and Jinlong Temple are the Neihu climb, only on the lake day, and only one of them. Thermal Valley is steam, not an observatory. A spring day does not add a height. If the second height is in another district, call it another day. Do not chase a second blue hour. Stop once in the middle. When you have eaten or looked, walk on. Do not turn passing shops into a list, and go back by the station you came in on.
