How to walk the Bund
Exit East Nanjing metro → pick one stretch of Zhongshan East 1st north or south; short stops at Chen Yi Square and Signal Tower; Peace Hotel façade then move on. When the crowd wall appears, step to the second row — no climbing rails. Lujiazui is silhouette only; if you ticket a tower, give the whole night to Pudong and delete the Puxi bank.
How to close on Lujiazui riverside
By day ticket one tower (Pearl / Shanghai Tower / Jin Mao). At dusk use Binjiang Ave to look back at Bund façades. A short indoor pause in IFC is fine for wind. Do not bolt back to East Nanjing souvenirs under the towers — that is an axis change.
Cruise and bans
A Huangpu cruise can close a Bund axis night — but do not chase Yuyuan night market or Disney fireworks after docking. Winter wind: short river stops; rain: indoor mall or museum — do not force the reflective concrete.
