How to lock three days (common HK rhythm)

Day1 Bay walk (Gardens / MBS exterior / one Chinatown meal). Day2 Kampong or Little India or Chinatown heritage — one quarter only. Day3 Sentosa (USS or Oceanarium) or Mandai (Zoo / Rainforest) — never both islands/wildlife same day. Orchard waits for rain or a last evening.

Common mistake: Shenzhen day-trip density

Singapore humidity and park queues run slower than HK expectations. “Merlion morning, USS noon, Zoo night” is the classic short-trip crash. Fewer stamps; one hawker meal finished seated.

Helix Bridge

Follow the Marina Bay boardwalk northwest onto Helix Bridge, toward Helix Bridge, about 5–10 minutes. No train. Exit: the Bayfront exit toward the Gardens.

Merlion Park

Bay waterfront

Gardens next is Merlion.

Satay by the Bay

Food · 8min

Gardens toward the barrage

After the bay, this is the one meal. Then stop — not Chinatown, and not Clarke Quay.

Esplanade

Walk · 18min

Bay promenade

A bay day ends at Esplanade. Do not continue to Clarke Quay or Boat Quay.
