The south shopping base. The arcade is covered; Amerikamura is not.
할 것 · Pick the arcade or Parks. Enter at the north end from Shinsaibashi Station and stop at Dotonbori.
하지 말 것 · Do not also shop Umeda department stores the same day. In rain, cancel Amerikamura — do not switch district.
Shinsaibashi shopping
Umeda
Station department stores. North exit, in-station and Hankyu are three buildings.
할 것 · Enter one of the three stores. In rain use the north link.
하지 말 것 · Do not continue to Shinsaibashi after. For Kyoto, go to the Hankyu platform first.
Umeda shopping
Nipponbashi
Models and anime. A different lane from Kuromon.
할 것 · A half-day in Den Den Town, entering Sakaisuji from Nipponbashi.

CityWalk
Shinsaibashi arcade
Leave Shinsaibashi Station into Daimaru at the north end of the arcade. Keep the middle. Stop where it meets Dotonbori. The whole stretch is covered in rain. Cancel open-air Amerikamura — do not switch to Umeda. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Shinsaibashi arcade
Amerikamura and Horie
West of Shinsaibashi Station is Amerikamura; Triangle Park is the midpoint. Horie is the other side of Yotsubashi Station — pick one. Both are open-air in rain; switch to the covered arcade. Do not finish both and then add a department store. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Amerikamura and Horie
Umeda department stores
The north exit enters Grand Front, LUCUA is inside the station, and Hankyu is a separate block to the east. Enter one of the three. In rain use the station links. For Kyoto, go to the Hankyu platform first — do not shop and then hunt for the gate. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Umeda department stores
Yodobashi
Enter Yodobashi straight from the JR Osaka west exit. Cameras and electronics: buy, then leave. Do not turn the floors into the theme. It works in rain, and it is not the next stop after Namba or a substitute for Shinsaibashi. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Yodobashi
Den Den Town
From Nipponbashi enter Den Den Town on Sakaisuji — models and anime are this stretch. Kuromon is another lane; do not turn it into dinner on the way. The arcade works in rain. Buy, then return to the station. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Den Den Town
Kuromon
From Nipponbashi follow Kuromon-suji, about 5 minutes. Keep the morning food stalls. Most close in the afternoon — check that day's notice. There is a roof in rain, but the floor is wet. Do not save it for evening. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Kuromon
Tenjinbashisuji
Enter the north stretch at Tenjinbashisuji 6-chome, or walk north from the shrine at Minami-Morimachi. Keep the run from the shrine to 3-chome. It is covered in rain. Do not walk to 1-chome and then double back to Namba. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Tenjinbashisuji
Namba Parks
Go straight up into Parks from Nankai Namba. Keep the lower floors for supplies, and the roof. Takashimaya is next door — pick one. In rain you need not leave the station. Do not stack this with the Shinsaibashi arcade. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Namba Parks
Shinsekai souvenirs
From Dobutsuen-mae or Ebisucho, face Tsutenkaku before you enter the main street. Souvenirs are a short stretch under the tower — buy one. Kushikatsu counters work in rain. Do not add Shinsaibashi drugstores. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
Shinsekai souvenirs
Harukas
Harukas is straight up from Tennoji Station; Mio is the other side of the concourse. Keep the floors you came to buy, or the dusk observatory — tickets follow that day's notice. In rain the tower can replace Tsutenkaku. Do not climb both. Leave by the exit you came in. Do not transfer to a second corridor.
