How to get there — wrong company wastes the morning
Take the JR Sakurajima Line to Universal City. The exit is the park front. ICOCA taps this JR hop. A Metro day pass does not. Do not divert to Osakako on the Chuo Line. Arrive before opening. Cloakrooms follow that day's notice.
Trust only that day's ticket notice
Usually no fixed weekly closure; park admission is separate from JR or Metro fares — opening hours follow that day's notice. If the list is too long, cut it. Do not add Kaiyukan to fill the gap. Maishima factory is a separate bus, not an in-park ride.
After the park, stop at CityWalk
The bay / Universal meal: Wanaca burgers at CityWalk for dinner after the park, about 5–10 minutes on foot, with no need to re-enter the station. If you sleep at Universal City, walk back to the hotel. If you sleep in Namba, take JR back and change at Nishikujo. Do not add a night market.
