Walk the gorge from Hankyu Minoh
The Hankyu Mino-o Line ends at Minoh. Walk the gorge; the falls are about 30–40 minutes, depending on that day's notice and your legs. ICOCA taps Hankyu. A Metro day pass does not reach it. Buy the insect cakes at the station.
Katsuo-ji is a bus, not the next walk
Katsuo-ji needs a bus up from Minoh Station. Times follow that day's notice. Do not squeeze it into the same morning as the falls. After the daruma, go down. Do not add a Umeda errand.
The Tower of the Sun is another day
Expo Park is the Osaka Monorail, not a walk on from Minoh. Interior slots for the Tower of the Sun are often reserved — check that day's notice. Finish in the park. Do not rush to Kyoto.
