通天閣
The Shinsekai tower. Billiken is on the fifth floor. Dusk is this or Harukas — not both.

Pick Tsutenkaku or Harukas for dusk. Shitennoji stays in the morning.

The retro quarter under the tower. Kushikatsu, signs and the tower are one axis.

Shinsekai’s food lane. Kushikatsu shops are dense — sit at one.

Shinsekai kushikatsu. No double-dipping the sauce — that is the house rule.

The zoo beside Tsutenkaku. Fine on a family Shinsekai day — do not add Kaiyukan.

Toka Ebisu falls around 10 January. On ordinary days it is a short visit, not a required stop under the tower.

The shopping street under the tower. Souvenirs and kushikatsu mix — one purchase is enough.

The Midosuji and Sakaisuji interchange. The edge between Shinsekai and Tennoji Park — lock the exit.

Chausuyama and Keitakuen sit in the park. One road from Shinsekai — still do not take both dusk towers.

One of Japan’s oldest official temples, with a five-storey pagoda. Morning worship — not a Tsutenkaku night.

One of Japan’s tallest towers; the deck is at 300 metres. Dusk is this or Tsutenkaku.

The in-station mall. Supplies while you change trains — do not make Harukas and Mio two themes.

The Seimei shrine on Seimei-dori. Walkable with Shitennoji — do not jump to Umeda.

One of Osaka’s guardian shrines. Stone stage and trees — a short morning visit.

Yakiniku and Korean groceries. Strong smells — do not schedule it in the same hour as a temple.

The stroll garden inside Tennoji Park. Same rhythm as Chausuyama — do not exit for Shinsekai kushikatsu right after.

Another day — do not treat this as a same-day walk. Sakaisuji Line to Ebisucho toward Tennoji Park (Midosuji Tennoji, park exit), about about 20–30 minutes. ICOCA or PiTaPa taps the gate. An Osaka Metro day pass is Metro only — not JR.
After the tower, finish in Shinsekai. Do not continue to Tennoji. Next is Tennoji Park.
