Lock one main meal a day
Kuromon, okonomiyaki, kushikatsu and Tsuruhashi are four districts. Two main meals in one day means two queues plus a cross-town hop. Pick the meal on today's walking axis. Save the rest.
Do not chain okonomiyaki and kushikatsu
The Minami meal: Mizuno or Chibo in Dotonbori for lunch or dinner, off noon. The east meal is separate: Daruma kushikatsu in Shinsekai for dinner — one dip only. If you want both, split the days. Queue length follows that day.
Who fits which meal
Namba stay, early start: Kuromon. Shinsaibashi stay, no train to catch: Dotonbori okonomiyaki. A Shinsekai day: kushikatsu. Tsuruhashi is strong-smelling — do not pair it with Shitennoji in the same hour.
