The roadway is free. The high walk is extra; without a ticket, walk the deck and look at the Tower. Next is St Katharine Docks — do not also stack the London Eye the same day.
Analysis
Split the exterior of Tower Bridge from the interior. Exterior all day; the high walk about 09:30–18:00. Security queues start outside the door; wear flats. On a day the exterior is free, do not buy the interior just for a photo. Leave via Tower Hill.

How to go
Tower Hill or London Bridge
Transit
At Tower Hill for Tower Bridge, match the street name before you walk. With luggage, do not change at a deep-stair station. Keep one train before the last one back to the hotel.
Season window
Guard changes, ceremonies and public holidays close roads around Tower Bridge. Summer noon glare is harsh; winter dusk is early — take the exterior in the morning.
Tips
- · Tickets: Exterior free; the high walk and engines are upper-mid. Plan about 40 minutes.
- · Bridge lifts are listed; do not wait all evening
- · Large liquids fail security at Tower Bridge. Coach parties take the pavement; walk in from the side street.
