Sunset is late in summer at The Shard and around four in winter. Rain and fog hide the river — stay at ground level.

- · Tickets: High: adult tickets on the official site — do not freeze a guide number. Plan about 45 minutes.
- · Security is airport-like; liquids are limited
- · Glass at The Shard reflects. The half-hour before sunset is the stable window. Tripods are usually refused.
