Tozai Higashiyama to Heian Jingu and the garden; zoo or Kyocera Museum — pick one. One Okazaki meal. Stop on the Okazaki canal belt — not Kinkaku or Kiyomizu; the Philosopher’s Path is a Ginkaku day. In rain prefer the museum indoors — do not force the whole shrine garden. Keage incline, if added, is the same east afternoon — not a pivot to Kinkaku.
