A Ginkaku day: Philosopher’s Path to Nanzen-ji — Kiyomizu another day
After opening: Ginkaku’s moon platform and sand sea, south on the Philosopher’s Path to Eikan-do and Nanzen-ji aqueduct, close at Keage or Tozai back downtown. One Nanzen-ji tofu lunch. Feed with Tozai Keage/Higashiyama — better than detouring Keihan via Demachiyanagi. Stop on the east line — not Kiyomizu, Arashiyama or Kinkaku. Cherry crowds are separate; light-ups follow that season’s notice.
