Where to stay in Hanoi
Walk lanes and reach bia hơi at night: 구시가 (noisy, narrow). Quieter Opera / Trang Tien / Hoa Lo: 프랑스 지구. Both can walk the lake by day — do not also chase 떠이호 night cafés the same evening.
Sleeping at 떠이호 means staying on the lake — 구시가 binges burn the transfer. 바딘 helps a 릉 morning; skip 맥주거리 that evening. South / station helps trains and 문묘; nightlife needs a ride. No rates or booking here — pick the axis, then the house.
