Train Street now: open/closed status changes; trackside café seating often shut. Brief exterior views only when managed/barriered; otherwise walk the cathedral and Old Quarter lanes. Safety over photos — trains pass close to the walls.
What not to do
Do not sit on rails, pose at unsafe distance, bring children close, or egg others on. Beer Street is another night axis — same evening is ok only if both stays are short and clear of traffic. Never stack this with a mausoleum morning as a must-do.
