Central’s skyline across the water, tide against the seawall. Clock Tower, Avenue of Stars and Star Ferry in one walkable line.
Analysis
TST promenade is the harbour’s long-exposure belt. Walk Clock Tower → Avenue of Stars → K11 and cross once. Reverse the line and Peninsula/mall stops shatter dusk.
Best time
Dusk to Symphony of Lights (~20:00); winter air is clearer.
How to go
MTR TST exit D toward the harbour, or Star Ferry from Central.
Transit
MTR TST exit D then Peking Road is the straightest walk. Star Ferry is scenery, not a transfer. Do not yo-yo between the Clock Tower and Harbour City.
Season window
Winter northeasterlies sharpen the water. Twenty minutes after a summer storm the sky is cleanest. Sunday dusk is peak photographer density.
Tips
- · Walk Clock Tower → Museum of Art; don’t detour into Harbour City first.
- · Wind can feel 3–4°C colder on the promenade.
