Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica
Red-brick towers. Finish them with the post office and the city hall in the same hour — not the palace.

District 1 colonial core
Cathedral, post office, opera and Nguyen Hue are the walking core. Not also the palace and the war museum.

Saigon Central Post Office
The hall and the map mural. Same junction as the cathedral — not a separate half day.

People's Committee Building
The French city-hall facade. No public interior. Night lights belong to Nguyen Hue; by day, the front only.
Nguyen Van Binh Book Street
The short street beside the cathedral. Fifteen minutes for books — not a shopping day.

Saigon Opera House
Enter for a performance. The facade is the east end of the colonial axis — not the Ben Thanh night market.

Nguyen Hue Walking Street
From the city hall to the river. Dusk is crowded; dawn is the slow walk. Do not add the palace.

Lam Son Square
The square in front of the opera. One look at the hotel facades — do not tour every lobby.

Dong Khoi
The luxury street of this axis. Enter one shop; windows for the rest. Not the same night as Bui Vien.

Diamond Plaza
The mall north of the cathedral. Go up on a rainy day — it does not replace the post office.
Ho Chi Minh City Museum
The former Gia Long palace. The indoor backup on a colonial day — not the same energy as the war museum.
Nguyen Hue cafe apartment
Coffee floors in the apartment block by the walking street. One cup, then down — do not plan the trip up there.

Le Duan shade
The trees between the cathedral and the palace. A seam between two days — do not buy both tickets today.
