At 09:30 change at Meinohama onto the Chikuhi through-train to Chikuzen-Maebaru. Lunch is Maebaru or the farmers’ market (8-minute next stop). Pick only Futamigaura (36-minute bus, sunset stays here) or Keya (another bus, 35 minutes from Futamigaura). The Keya boat runs about April to November; the tourism association lists a 10 April 2026 restart, a December–March closure, and about 25 minutes, and wind cancels it. Oyster huts run about October to the following April, each hut differs, and out of season they are not on the day. Afterward, take the bus back to Maebaru and be at Meinohama before the last train.
Why it is smooth: Out at 09:30 from Meinohama, lunch at Maebaru, and straight back to Maebaru after sunset or the boat. Do not rush Keya and Futamigaura the same day.
