大名／大濠

公園 · Lake

The moat turned into a lake. The city park worth walking. Next is the art museum or the castle — not Momochi beach.

Boats · Lake

The small boats. Walk the lake first, then decide. Do not queue the moment you arrive.

美術館 · 公園

The city art museum in the park. On an Ohori day this is the one museum — the prefectural museum stays on a Tenjin day.

Castle · Stone

Stone walls in Maizuru Park. See the stones and the gate — there is no keep to tour.

公園 · Castle

The park that holds the castle, one water away from Ohori. Finish the lake and enter — do not split them into two days.

遺跡 · Ancient

The ancient guest-house ruins under the castle side. Enter the display only if you care — otherwise the castle stones are enough.

View · 海湾

The hill over Hakata Bay. If your legs remain after Ohori, see the bay here — not also Fukuoka Tower.

Shrine · ついで

This Atago shrine sits south of Nishi Park. It is not Washio-Atago on the Sawara hill. Stop in while you walk from Ohori to the Nishi Park view. Do not make a separate mountain trip.

科学 · 親子

The science museum in Ropponmatsu. A family day stays here — not also Marine World.

Zoo · 親子

The city zoo in South Park. If the science museum is already on the day, do not add the zoo.

乗換 · Residential

The residential-commercial band between Ohori and Tenjin. A change point, not a spine.

Castle interior · Green

The green inside the castle trace. After the stones, leave this way — do not walk back to where you started on the lake.
