Wat Traimit is the stop for the golden Buddha upstairs, a walk from Hua Lamphong that anchors Chinatown's afternoon at the station end. Half a day: MRT Hua Lamphong upstairs, then Talat Noi or the main street at dusk, one stall, stop. Do not taxi back to the palace, and do not add a mall. Charge and opening follow the temple that day.
Best time
Charge and opening follow the temple that day. This station has no single citable fare to freeze.
How to go
Walk from MRT Hua Lamphong. Most long-distance trains are no longer at this old station.
Tips
- · The golden Buddha and Yaowarat at night are the same district, day and night. Do not split them into two rides.
