Stop at Jim Thompson for the teak houses on the canal and one indoor hour that pulls a Siam shopping day out of the malls. The main house is guided; you do not wander it alone. Half a day: National Stadium, then the art centre or the ground at MBK, then the museum, then back to Siam station. Do not make both Paragon and CentralWorld the main hall. Thonglor and Chatuchak are not the rest of this day.

The visitor page: daily 10:00–17:00, last tour 17:00. Adults 250 baht; ages 10–21 150 baht with ID; under 10 free.
How to go
Walk from BTS National Stadium exit 1. The house has stairs and no lift. Bags over the stated size go in a locker.
