Ekkamai is the next east stop after Thonglor — a bus terminal and lane mouths, not a reason to continue to Chatuchak. How to use it: leave after a Thonglor dinner, or treat it as a pass-through on the east line; out-of-town buses follow the terminal that day. Do not add the palace, do not make Soi 38 a second dinner, and do not head north to the market.
